Arusha to Tarangire National Park.
In the morning, you will be picked up from your accommodation and driven to Tarangire National Park for game viewing. The reserve’s giant baobab trees, bush savannah, and seasonal marshes add to its beauty. The Tarangire National Park is regarded as one of the best sites in the world to see elephants up close, not only because there are thousands of them, but also because they are not disturbed by vehicles.
The park also has buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, which are constantly pursued by a variety of predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. In the afternoon, you will have lunch and some time to relax while taking in the breathtaking vistas of the park before carrying on with the game drive till late in the evening. Later that evening, your guide will drive you to a lodge in Manyara for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, your guide will meet you at your lodge and drive you to Lake Manyara, which is noted for its over 400 bird species, primate-filled woods, and grassy plains. The park is home to giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, impalas, and groups of noisy monkeys and baboons, as well as an alkaline lake that serves as a seasonal breeding ground for large colonies of water birds.
The forest around the gate serves as a good nesting area for pelicans, herons, and marabou stock. In the afternoon, you’ll pause for a picnic lunch while admiring the park’s breathtaking views before continuing with your afternoon game drive. Following all of the day’s activities, your guide will drive you to a lodge for dinner and overnight.
Following a delectable breakfast, you will depart Manyara via the cooler highlands towards the southern Serengeti, arriving in time for lunch in your lodge around lunchtime. This park is Tanzania’s oldest and most famous, with a diverse range of habitats and sceneries including short grass plains, savannah, heavy bush, swamps, and lakes. Following lunch and check-in, you will proceed on an afternoon game drive in the park.
Strange rock formations known as kopjes dot the grassy environment, where predators are frequently observed. The Serengeti is well known for its annual migration of hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras in search of fresh grass and water. In the evening, your guide will return you to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Following a delectable breakfast, the entire day is devoted to game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. The areas you visit will be determined by the location of the migrating herds. Predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs regularly trail the wandering animals. During the short-wet season in November and December, the herds migrate from the highlands to the plains. They migrate north during the lengthier rainy season, which lasts from April to June.
Because the migration is entirely reliant on yearly rainfall, the location of the herds may vary from year to year, but your guide will know where to look for the animals and where to get the greatest views. In the afternoon, you will stop at one of the chosen spots for a picnic lunch while admiring the park’s breathtaking views. Following lunch, you will continue your afternoon game drive in quest of the species you did not spot in the morning until late in the evening. Later that evening, your guide will drive you to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast in your lodge, you will be picked up by your guide and driven to the park gate, where you will enjoy more game viewing before departing the Serengeti National Park in the early afternoon and continuing your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will check in at a lodge, have dinner, and spend the night anticipating the next day’s excursion
After a sumptuous breakfast, descend to the crater floor. The large collapsed volcano is home to approximately 25,000 creatures, including the “Big Five” lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard, as well as spotted hyenas, the rare golden jackal, and some of the area’s more than 350 bird species. After an extended game drive and a picnic lunch, you will depart the caldera for Arusha in the afternoon. Our expedition has come to an end.
