Your knowledgeable and friendly tour guide will provide more information about the artifacts found at each location you choose to visit. The Tarangire River, which runs through the park, gives the park its name. During the dry season, Tarangire, which means “river of the warthogs,” is the only source of water for wildlife in the area. In some areas, the vegetation, which includes elephant grass and acacia trees, is quite dense.
The park is well-known for its elephant herds, which congregate near the river on a regular basis. You’ll pause in the late afternoon to enjoy a picnic lunch while admiring the park’s breathtaking views. You’ll resume your gaming spree after the break. Giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeest are also possible sightings. Numerous predators, including lions and leopards, are keeping a close eye on these animals. Tarangire is the best place to see these gentle giants in their natural habitat. everything from the adorable calves to the intimidating bulls After a long game drive, we travel to the Ngorongoro highlands, arriving in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay at a lodge.
Tarangire To Central Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and on to Serengeti National Park, stopping along the way for a game-viewing drive. Serengeti National Park is without a doubt the most well-known wildlife sanctuary in the entire world, owing to its unparalleled natural beauty and scientific significance. Every year, during the brief rains in October and November, over a million wildebeest and over 200,000 zebras migrate from the northern hills to the southern plains. The migration then shifts to the west and north after the long rains of April, May, and June.
Because their innate desire to move is so strong, no drought, gorge, or crocodile-infested river can keep them from moving. In the afternoon, you will pause for a few minutes for a picnic lunch before continuing your game drive. The legendary Great Wildebeest Migration begins in the Serengeti. Visitors always want to go on an authentic African safari in the Serengeti National Park, which is also frequently featured on National Geographic shows. After all, at the end of the day, your guide will transport you to a Serengeti lodge for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.
Central to North Serengeti National Park
After a hearty breakfast in your Serengeti lodge, your guide will wake you up and take you on a game drive into the Serengeti’s northern reaches. The northern Serengeti is a large, unspoiled area with undulating wooded hills, open grassy areas, and significant granite outcrops. Because it is remote and somewhat inaccessible, sandwiched between the Central Serengeti and Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve to the north, the Northern Serengeti allows for avoiding crowds. As a result, fewer people visit it. After a few hours of game viewing, you will stop for a picnic lunch in a specially designated area before continuing your game drive.
Those who make it to this Serengeti region will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the acacia woodlands and granite outcrops that dot the open savanna, incredible wildlife, and, most importantly, the massive herds of wildebeest and zebra that cross the perilous Mara River during the Great Migration in June and July, as well as again in September, October, and November. After a day of exploring, your guide will transport you to a Serengeti lodge for a delectable buffet dinner and overnight stay.
Serengeti To Ngorongoro Crater
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which has the highest concentration of big game in Africa. Enter the world’s largest complete volcano caldera, which is over 600 meters deep.
Ngorongoro Crater appears to be a lost realm at first glance. Behind the jagged volcanic walls are a natural environment with broad savannah, pockets of acacia woodland, and shimmering lakes and wetlands. Two to three million years ago, a large volcano erupted, collapsing in on itself to form a crater. It is well-known for its geological wonders and for being a natural reserve with some of Africa’s densest large mammal populations. When you reach the crater floor, you will be surrounded by herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, and over 500 different bird species.
The descent into the crater is an adventure in itself. The Crater provides the best opportunity to see the critically endangered black rhino, which can be seen on the open grasslands on occasion. We head to one of our opulent partner lodges for dinner and the night after a lengthy wildlife drive inside the crater and lunch.
